Resident Teacher
Kelsang Sangdrub
The resident teacher of Avalokiteshvara Kadampa Meditation Centre (AKBC) is Kelsang Sangdrub. Sangdrub is a fully ordained Buddhist monk.
Kelsang Sangdrub met Kadam Dharma in the Fall of 1994 and shortly thereafter received teachings from our tradition's spiritual guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso during Geshe-la's visit to Toronto that year. Since that time Sangdrub has received teachings from many other senior practitioners. He delivers and participates in numerous festivals, retreats, workshops and study programs throughout the year.
Through his sincere and kind-hearted teachings, Sangdrub has inspired many students to follow the spiritual path of improving their mind.
