Welcome to Meditation in Mississauga!
Ontario Dharma Celebration
The annual Ontario Dharma Celebration (ODC) is a wonderful opportunity for people all across Ontario to come together to receive practical spiritual advice. It is held in the National Kadampa Temple in Toronto, which arose from the compassionate intention of Venerable Geshe Keslsang Gyatso, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU). All profits from the event go to the International Temples Project (ITP) fund, dedicated to public benefit. more...
Latest News - AKBC has moved from Port Credit!
The Centre rented space from the owners of the Montessori school attached to the First United Church for almost 5 years. While we had enough space, that location was not ideal for a meditation center. We moved on June 22, 2014. We will spend the summer looking for a new venue in Mississauga and hope to resume our classes and events early in September. We will be running no classes in Mississauga in July and August. We'd like to thank everyone for your support and understanding as we look for a more suitable venue from which we can continue to bring the Dharma to Mississauga. Please check our web site for updates.
Glen Williams Drop-in Classes
Drop-in meditation classes will continue on Wednesdays in Glen Williams throughout the summer. Join us in beautiful Glen Williams any Wednesday at 7:00pm. The historic Town Hall at 1 Prince Street is a tranquil spot in a busy world, and it is well worth the drive.
