General Program Classes - Fall, 2015
This Thanksgiving marks a change of direction for the Centre. With the wish to offer more meditation classes in Mississauga, classes in Brampton and Glen Williams will end for now. The last classes in Brampton and Glen Williams will be held on Thursday, October 8th.
Please watch the website for more classes and locations to be announced.
Please note that starting in September, classes in Mississauga will be on Tuesdays at 7:00pm.

Welcome to Avalokiteshvara Kadampa Buddhist Centre (AKBC)
AKBC is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT), a branch of Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism that has been active in the west since 1977. NKT presents Buddha's message of love, compassion and skillful living in a way that makes it easy for westerners to approach, understand and practice.
We offer introductory classes on Buddhism (Drop-in classes), meditation classes for beginners, guided meditations, retreats, or special courses. We offer all level of Buddhist studies, books on meditation; Buddhism, helpful reference materials, and the fellowship of a spiritual community.
Meditation is for everyone, regardless of religious background, race, ethnicity, gender, or orientation. We welcome everyone, including people of all faiths, to any of our Kadampa meditation centres throughout the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. There are over 1,100 Kadampa meditation centres and groups worldwide.
